Hi Everyone. A big "Welcome" to our new viewers and "Welcome Back" to old friends. Our YouTube channel features a bonded barn owl pair (Willow and Aspen) who return annually to our specially-built owl house to start their new family. This is their fifth year here. The owl house is located in Northern California's Bay Area, just South of San Francisco. We only built the house to invite them, and the rest is up to them. We do not engage or interfere with the barn owls in any way.
We're excited to be able to share Willow's and Aspen's journey again this year. We started the video on 12/24/2015, and both Willow and Aspen have already been spotted spending time in the owl house. During this entire process, our goal is to keep the live webcam streaming 24/7 so everyone can enjoy this couple's journey and the wonder of new life in the wild.
Owls are nocturnal, so there is typically more activity in the evening than during the day. There is a 4-hour video rewind feature located in your window. The red line under the video is a "scroll bar" with the dot on the far right side. Click on this and then scroll back the dot to a desired time - up to 4 hours. Click on the "live" text and return to live video.
